Hi! I’m a Junior in the Dyson school of Applied Economics and Management, minoring in education. On campus, I am also involved with the Intergroup Dialogue Project, Cornell Marketing, and Salsa Pa’Lante. Asha was the first organization I joined on campus because an older friend of mine told me how much the community had come to mean to her. Over 2 years, Asha Cornell has become my home away from home. Volunteering continues to allow me to meet amazing, talented, hardworking people and work together towards a cause that’s larger than all of us. I didn’t expect to feel so passionate about supporting educational initiatives in a country I was neither born nor raised in. However, the more I learn, reflect, and act, the more inspired I feel to help enact social change in communities who need our support.
