Asha at Cornell is a non-profit organization and also an active Student Group at Cornell University. It is a completely volunteer driven organization, made up of dedicated individuals from Cornell and the greater Ithaca area, striving to make a difference in society by working towards promoting the education of underprivileged children in India by providing financial assistance and support to the NGOs focused on education projects. We believe that education is one of the primary factors that shapes a child’s future and by extension, future of the entire country. In 2021, we won the Outstanding Contribution to the APIDA Community Award presented by the CU Asian American Center, for significantly empowering and uplifting the APIDA community.
